Apply to the joint RCS/ORUK Research Fellowship

Deadline: 25 February 2021 at 2 pm

Would you like to spend one-year training in orthopaedic research?

Our Joint Research Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS) can support you with building and developing your research skills, and is an ideal platform to prepare you to become a future orthopaedic leader.

The scheme offers the same benefits as the One-Year Surgical Research Fellowship of the RCS and the application and review process is the same. If you would like your application to be considered for the Joint Fellowship, you must complete relevant sections in the application form to explain how the research proposal fits into one of the following research areas:

  1. Early diagnosis to effectively control onset of musculoskeletal disease/injuries and pain development
  2. Treatment strategies to tackle already existing musculoskeletal disorders to improve quality of life
