Directions

Pembroke College

By car: If using sat nav to find your way to Pembroke, the main College postcode is OX1 1DW, and the GAB is OX1 4NJ. We recommend using the Park and Ride car parks, located on the outskirts of the city, which are well connected by bus to the centre. The High Street is closed to traffic between 7.30am-6pm (excluding taxis). The are limited car parking options in Oxford city centre – for full details see the Oxford city council website.

By train:  From Oxford Station it is a 10 minute walk to Pembroke College. There is a good taxi service from the station, and numerous buses go to St Aldates (the road closest to the college).

By air: From London Heathrow or Gatwick, the Airline coach goes directly to Oxford. From London Stansted, National Express runs to Oxford via Luton Airport. All of the above services terminate at Gloucester Green bus station; the College is then a 5-10 minute walk. There are direct train and bus services from Birmingham International Airport to Oxford.

Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

By car: For SatNav please use postcode OX3 7LD. There is parking available onsite, for a list of charges please click here.

By train: The centre is three miles from Oxford railway station, with its frequent trains from London (Paddington) and many other parts of the UK. Please allow at least 15 minutes by taxi from the station forecourt and 30 minutes by bus (take the number 5 or 3 and change to the number 15 at Queens Lane).

By air: Oxford is well placed for airports in London and Birmingham. London Heathrow is about 70 minutes by coach. Coach services to both Heathrow and Gatwick stop in Headington Centre and Gipsy Lane.
